Über unseren Club |
Die Rhetorenschmiede ist als deutschsprachiger Toastmasters Club seit 2001 in München registriert und organisiert für seine Mitglieder und Gäste zweimal pro Monat Club-Abende mit der weltweit einheitlichen Toastmasters-Agenda und zusätzlichen Schmankerln wie Wettbewerbe, Präsentationen und Debatten. Englische Redebeiträge sind willkommen. Seit Juli 2009 bieten wir Videoaufzeichnungen.
Die Toastmasters Clubs sind Non-Profit-Organisationen mit zwanzig bis vierzig Mitgliedern, die ihre rhetorischen Fähigkeiten und ihre Führungsqualifikationen verbessern wollen und nach den Ausbildungsstandards von Toastmasters International arbeiten.
Die Mitglieder der Toastmasters-Clubs unterstützen sich gegenseitig, lernen voneinander und miteinander. In entspannter, positiver Atmosphäre dürfen die Mitglieder experimentieren und Fehler machen. Zugleich werden ihre Projekte konstruktiv und detailliert von der Gruppe bewertet.
Um Selbstsicherheit aufzubauen und vor Publikum zu überzeugen, sind das beste Voraussetzungen. Ein angenehmer Nebeneffekt ist das Kennenlernen von Menschen, die sich in ihrer Erfahrung, ihrer Ausbildung und ihren Ansichten gewaltig voneinander unterscheiden und trotzdem tolerant und freundschaftlich miteinander umgehen.
Für die Mitgliedschaft bei Toastmasters spielen Alter, Geschlecht, Weltanschauung und Beruf keine Rolle. Und für einen Club-Abend investieren Toastmasters in der Regel nicht mehr als für die Portion Kaffee davor oder das Glas Wein oder Bier hinterher.

We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth..
