Dear Toastmasters of Area I4,
Here we go: The Area Contest is approaching, our first contest since we have become the new District 95! We look forward to Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contests - and more - in English and German.
You all are invited by Erlangen Toastmasters:
Wednesday, October 1 at Unicum Erlangen, at 7 pm.
Please come and join, support you club's contestants, meet Fellow Toastmasters and have fun!
Support Needed: As most of you know, a contest also needs a lot of activity in various roles: Please let me know (preferably by e-mail) if you would like to serve as co-organizer, Sgt.-at-Arms, timer or ballot counter, or are interested in a small speaking slot (to tell a joke or something else that's humorous or entertaining). All this is leadership and all can find its way to the CL manual. Your participation will be highly appreciated!!
Judges should be nominated by clubs, but this is still in progress and if you would like to serve as judge, you may also let me know. (Do not put this into the easy speak agenda, please, as judges should be secret.)
7:00 pm: Briefing (for contestants, judges, timers, ballot counters)
7:30 pm: Start for everyone
There will be a dinner break
Estimated 10:45 pm: Adjourn, Socializing in the Restaurant
Please indicate your attendance at the event page ("view meeting" on the left) - please e-mail me if you can fill a role.
Looking forward to seeing you,
Franziska

Welcome Fellow Toastmasters of Area I4!
It is my honor to serve as your Area Governor in the upcoming Toastmasters year. I will gladly support the lively and enthusiastic spirit within our Area I4 and do my best to support members and clubs in achieving their individual goals in communication and leadership. We will be challenged, and we will learn a lot while having a ton of fun!
It is still some weeks until the new year starts - but preparations are in full progress.
Please mark the date: We start off the year with the first officers training on Saturday, July 5. All members, officer or not: you are welcome! Click "view meeting" on the left to receive more information.
See you soon!
Yours Franziska
