Welcome to District 109

District 109 brings together Toastmasters across 18 countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, San Marino, Slovenia, Switzerland, Türkiye, and Vatican City.

Our District is an extraordinary mosaic of cultures, languages, traditions and perspectives, united by the Toastmasters values of integrity, respect, service and excellence. Across borders and languages, our members support one another in developing communication and leadership skills, exchanging ideas, building friendships and growing together.

From the peaks of the Alps to the shores of the Mediterranean and beyond, District 109 stretches across a remarkably diverse part of the world. Our 2026–2027 motto captures that spirit:

It reflects both our geography and our shared ambition: different countries, communities and experiences, connected by a commitment to learning, leadership and mutual support. Note that for easySPEAK purposes, clubs in Israel and Türkiye are geographically associated with easy-speak.org, ensuring that they are connected to the appropriate easySPEAK community and support structure.
